COVID-19 UPDATE - February 4, 2021

Dear Fort McMurray Oilsands Curling Club Members,

We had our fingers crossed that we would be delivering some positive news about the remainder of the 2020/21 curling season.  However, following the recent announcement by the Government of Alberta on the guidelines for the staged reopening and with no clear timeline of when or if we would be able to return to play the Fort McMurray Oilsands Curling Club board of directors has come to the decision to cancel the remainder of the 2020/21 curling season.

We appreciate all of the support we have received in this shortened season and ask that you give us a few more weeks to provide details on our refund/credit policy.  We are targeting the first week of March to have this information communicated to you.

Over the next week, you will see a few request for help as we close down the club (taking out the ice, storing the rocks, etc).  We are hopeful that you will be able to spare some time to wind down the club.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

See you in the fall

Board of Directors Fort McMurray Oilsands Curling Club
